Continuing the exploration into budget-conscious pedals I thought it appropriate to check out the Dead Beat Echolation Station. I dig its classic look and Moog-esque enclosure and was impressed with many of the delays it has to offer. This sketch highlights the filter mode, which is really unique and one of my favorite parts of the prolific Meris Enzo. While the Meris still holds its own, the Dead Beat gets you close (albeit with much less control). I grabbed this for under $100, and at that price it's definitely a fun delay station of economical way to feel out some different sounding delays before you jump into purchasing a specific one.
Reverb added by the lovely GFI Specular, drive from the ThorpyFX The Dane, and a ton of experimenting with the Pocket Operator PO-12.
