LCD screens, they're nice enough aren't they? But gaming on a flat screen just doesn't feel like it did on a tiny CRT in the 90s. So given I was moving about an Xbox 360, I thought it would be worthwhile to see if hooking it's HDMI up to a non-HDMI CRT would improve the gameplay, and recreate that warming feeling that playing on a CRT screen produced when we were younger. So, essentially HD on an old 90s CRT screen. The games of choice for this escapade not only include Minecraft, but an array of other titles, including some Sega Mega Drive games, on the Xbox, run through HDMI and then pushed through Composite RCA... As you might expect, this then feels just like you're playing a Megadrive/Genesis in the good old days!
