FREEDOM ON FIRE is non-profit short documentary film about Vietnamese transgender female. The film is in pre-production now and we need your support!
----
Synopsis:
Sam, a transgender female, left home at a very young age because of her family’s prejudice towards her. Since the day she left, she has been standing on her own two feet. Due to her being a student as well as a victim of social discrimination, she was rejected upon applying to the normal jobs she had found. It was then, she chose instead to work as a street-performer. Every night, she and a few fellow trans girls would perform in front of various restaurants, selling candy as they fire-danced for tips. The film “Freedom on fire”, reflects the trans woman’s inner-world as well as her surroundings that are both as lively and strong as fire.
