Anemia is defined as a decrease in the red blood cells or hemoglobin in the blood. The normal levels of hemoglobin in men from 13-15 and women is 12-14. When the level hemoglobin drops below 8 then we advise blood transfusion, this may happen due to severe blood loss or other com orbit conditions. When we give a blood transfusion we must see to it that it is not overloaded. The maximum transfusion given in a day should not exceed more than 2. When there is a overload of blood transfusion it leads to hypervolemia which means an increase in amount of fluid the body which leads to hypovolemic shock and cordial failure.
