[ Ссылка ] 1/4 mile drag race video of a 2015 Mercedes Benz E63 AMG Model S. Beginning in 2014, all US bound E63's are All Wheel Drive (4Matic in Benz vernacular). The car in the video is all stock and equipped with optional Carbon Ceramic brakes. Since 2012 the E63 has been powered by a hand built AMG 5.5 Liter BiTurbo V8 which replaced the 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8. The 2015 E63 Model S makes 577 HP due to more boost than base model). The power is sent to the wheels via a 7 speed MCT transmission.
Due to the AWD, a new E63 Model S will run 11.60-11.70's all day long without a hint on wheel spin. The weather the day of this pass was a warm and humid 80 F with a DA of about 1500. This particular E63 Model S should be capable of 11.50's in better conditions. Not bad for a 4400 lbs sedan.
