What's happening at the border today? Where do people go when they're deported or rejected from the U.S seeking asylum? What happens to those who have lost everything to come to the border on the edge of the United States? These are the stories of the real people affected.
What started off as another documentary (scheduled for September) turned into three months of diving deeper into this project than any other I have ever done. I have learned more about the situation than I ever thought there was to know, and began to learn something I believe has been missing from the recent rhetoric surrounding the border and immigration policy. What happens to the people? Where do they go? And what is being done about it? Hopefully this video starts to answer those questions, but unless you see it for yourself, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
