There are many videos about the Ultimate Cinema Rig for the Canon M50. AND! I followed their advice... 😢
Now, what to say? I did not note one critical flaw in these video suggestions, and of course, I also looked around at what I hand on hand that might cut the cost, and get the job done.
The iPhone can connect wirelessly to the M50, but can it be used as a monitor at the same time? I'm still waiting on HDMI cables to come.
With the Microphone plugged in, guess what? The Flip Screen isn't fully functional thus a Monitor is, "necessary."
Hanging stuff off the cage, and other stuff off the grip means all the additional weight is being held BY THE Hot Shoe. The bloody grip does NOT CONNECT to the centre top of the Cage and they are both made by the same company!
Further UURig doesn't seem to have a suitable cold show attachment... I have to go to SmallRig to get one! 🤦🏼♂️
So, is this the Ultimate Cinema Rig for the Canon M50? I think not.
