Building your own Docker image from scratch is the best way to learn about containerization. Especially if you can add to that Docker image only the files you need and more so when you made the binaryy to add. Creating our own C source file we can display the hostname of a system. This is the only file and only binary needed in any container made from the image. We can compile the source code and add the image so the image is less than 1MB
