Comparing the Honor 20 Pro vs Huawei's P30 Pro to see which is best for you - we check out the camera tech, size them up for performance, battery life and overall specs, so you know which smartphone suits your needs!
Despite sporting a lower 599 Euro asking price, the Honor 20 Pro boasts a quad lens camera that rivals Huawei's excellent P30 Pro camera tech. You don't get the same 5x optical zoom, but the 3x zoom telephoto lens still works a charm and photo and video quality is solid. Likewise, you get the same Kirin 980 platform for speedy everyday performance and a big battery for all-day play.
On the software front, it's Magic UI vs Emotion UI, although they're more or less the same for features and functionality. Note that I shot this comparison before the big Google licensing news - future Android updates and Play services support is still unclear at the time of publishing.
Still, the P30 Pro does sport a colourful OLED screen while the Honor 20 Pro scales back to an LCD display.
So which smartphone wins this comparison for you? The gap between them is surprisingly small despite the asking price of the Honor 20 Pro. That said, we still have much love for the P30 Pro. Let us know your favourite below!
