Three of my hollies lost their leaves during the cold snap, but the branches/trunks appear to still be alive: "Centennial Girl" (ilex aquifolium x centrochinensis), "Liberty" (ilex cornuta x pernyi x latifolia), and "Dragon Lady" (ilex aquifolium x pernyi).
The "Nellie Stevens" holly (ilex aquifolium x cornuta) kept its leaves, although there was browning on some.
The Dahoon Holly (ilex cassine) suffered minimal damage. I just received American Holly (ilex opaca) and Savannah Holly (ilex opaca x cassine) from wilsonbrosgardens.com and they should be very hardy.
Other cold hardy hollies discussed but not shown: Foster Holly (ilex opaca x cassine), Inkberry Holly (ilex glabra), and Blue Princess Holly / Blue Prince Holly (ilex aquifolium x rugosa).
