The Franna Crane project continues! In this video, we take a deep dive into the complete restoration process for each stage of the Franna crane boom. We'll be stripping all the components off the boom, sandblasting with our rapidblast SD10 dustless system, and performing thorough crack testing with our brand new magnaflux magnetic particle tester. But there's a twist! During the sandblasting, we uncover a major hurdle - one of the boom extensions is heavily rusted and corroded. Unfortunately, it's beyond repair and needs complete replacement.
