At home DIY eyelash extensions for the first time!!
This was a learning experience that’s for sure. Here I’ll have some tips that I learned and the products I used as well.
❤️DO NOT USE PROFESSIONAL EYELASH GLUE!!! The one I used for this video works well and is not harsh like the professional or even other non professional types. Even though it wasn’t harsh it’s still important to wash your eye out if it happens to get in.
I also threw away that contact lens I was using when that happen to be extra safe. This is the lash glue I used:
❤️ Apply the glue to the strip on the side that is facing up when you first open the package. Don’t flip them the other way like I did.
❤️ Make sure to wait until the glue becomes tacky before putting it under your lash line.
❤️ Use high quality tweezers preferably lash tweezers to avoid injury and better precision. I used regular tweezers so I had to be extra careful not to poke my eye. They’re sharp!!!
❤️ It takes practice but it will get easier even on the first try as you go along. I had to learn how to aim the false lashes to the right spot on my eye. It would probably help to rest your ring finger or pinky on your under eye circle to help stabilize your hand.
The products I used in this video are:
Ardell eyelash extensions wispies 5 pack
DUO brush on strip lash adhesive - hypoallergenic, latex free, formaldehyde free (it’s the green one)
Tweezers by tweezer man
Small scissors not sure where they are from :/
