The first-ever West Yorkshire Young Poet Laureate competition led by National Literacy Trust and West Yorkshire Combined Authority is free to enter and open to students in Year 4, Year 9 and Year 10 from schools in West Yorkshire.

Entries will be judged in two categories: Year 4 and Year 9 to 10.
