This is Part 3, Best Practices & The Suicidal Zone, of a 5-part video training for suicide prevention, called ASK About Suicide to Save A Life. ASK online is a non-proprietary training program, and we welcome you to use this video for adults interested in learning more about suicide prevention for all ages. It has subtitle options in English and Spanish. This 5-part video training is a 1-1/2 hour version of the best-practice based ASK About Suicide to Save A Life Gatekeeper training program. Trainers are: Merily Keller, @StopTxSuicides & MHAT, trainer; Introductions: Mike Hogan, Past Chair, President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health & Toniya Parker, Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Medical and Social Services Division (plus audience members from DSHS/HHSC/Texas Suicide Prevention Council & community volunteers).
The video presentation has been divided into 5 sections, each 10-20 min.
