Chayatsuji Kimono
How to tie the first or bottom koshihimo

After neatly arranging the bottom part of your kimono
Place the exact middle of your koshihimo on the end of your collar (the seam should do)
Bring the himo to the back where you cross it and bring it back to the front
Pull it tight and bring to the edge of your collar again
Make a knot by pushing one end down with your thumb, raising it and pushing it down again.
Pull it tight, and then reverse the ends so that they are facing the opposide side.

For the second one
After crossing in the back bring both ends to the edge of the collar.
Make a double knot like the previous one but instead tieing it in a bow
Tuck it underneath to create a smooth apearance.
