No. In Florida we have no fault divorce. That basically means if one person wants a divorce, then the divorce is ultimately going to be granted. There are things that both parties can do to drag out the process. One of the things that you can do is file a motion for counseling and ask the court to allow you to go to counseling to try to reconcile your marriage; however, eventually that motion may be heard and if so, dismissed. So essentially, if one party wants a divorce it will eventually be granted.
