Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude towards Lithuania at a flag-raising rally near the NATO Summit in the city of Vilnius on Tuesday, July 11.

Zelensky arrived in Lithuania on July 11 for the two-day NATO Summit, ahead of the flag-raising event, the Lithuanian public broadcaster reported.

“Ukrainian flags on Lithuanian streets clearly prove that we are already allies, and Ukraine will defend both its own and your freedom,” Zelensky said.
