Gog and Magog were Giants, the "men of renown." Today you will learn that renown is a name, revealing the possible origin of the term. The Giant Magog is frequently associated with apocalyptic traditions, mostly in connection with Ezekiel 38 and 39 which notes Gog of the land of Magog.
