Our biggest and best Craftsman Chicken Coop build ever. This custom coop was installed in Dryden, Michigan, just outside Detroit. It has a 10'x10' henhouse/storage shed combination with a 30' run, bringing the overall footprint to 10'x40'.
This coop has true board and batten and sandwiched walls construction. It has a fully functional cupola and tons of storage inside the henhouse/shed area. It also has the roof line going in two different directions for a great look accented by a bold red door.
There is a heated poultry water system, automatic chicken run door, and plenty of windows for ventilation. Learn about the tips in building this huge custom chicken coop complete with measurements and insights into the build.
This coop also was landscaped afterward by a design from Bethany Latham of Environmental Harmony that incorporated companion planting for chicken foraging. Foodscaping for chickens!
