Mackinac Island is famous for it's fudge. In fact it is America's fudge capital. The island has 14 different fudge shops to choose from with a variety of flavors. Mackinac Island produces approximately 10,000 pounds of fudge PER DAY during peak travel season! It is such a staple to buy fudge when you visit the island, tourists are coined fudgies because no one leaves the island without fudge!
In today's video, we taste tested fudge from 4 of the most popular fudge shops on the island. We tasted plain chocolate fudge from Murdick's which us considered the ORIGINAL fudge shop on Mackinac Island, Ryba's fudge, Joann's fudge and Kilwin's fudge. So the real question is, WHO HAS THE BEST FUDGE ON MACKINAC ISLAND? The question is answered and I hope this review will help you decided which fudge shop you want to try the next time you visit Mackinac Island.
