10 Pillars:
• Information
This game is all about having information so you can decide what’s next. When you have info, you are proactive, you are the one making things happen, instead of being clueless and reactive. This is why popping UAVs, listening, and looking at the mini map is important.
• Line of Sight:
Make sure you have a line of sight to be able to see the information you need, but without overexposing yourself and know when to break off that line completely, because it’s better for you to not be seen. Usually that is done with fakes, like making the enemy think you are running, only to rechallenge them and catch them off guard.
• Waiting or Creating The Opportunity:
Think of it as balancing the Timing Of aggression and defense,
Before you do that move that will help you be a hard target to hit or break the enemy’s aim, make sure it’s the right time and place, especially if you are fighting more than one enemy. by either waiting for their push and baiting them to you.
or pushing and closing the gap while taking minimal damage like zig zagging from cover to cover and jiggle peaking.
• The Concept of Faking:
The manipulation of the enemy mind.
This is where you have them expect something only to do something else and take advantage of that. Or force them to behave in a certain way because of the info they have. This becomes easier to understand as u play cod more and see how a lot players behave similarly.
A fake can be, going prone around a corner while they chased you. taking a vehicle and switching seats, the slide cancel jump. changing running directions to confuse their tracking.
While doing stuff like this, have fun, move around, instead of playing for kills and KD, try seeing how much u can stay alive and troll your enemy, this will teach you to see or create opportunities.
• Cover to Cover Movement:
Always move from one piece of cover to another, and if you only have one, use it as a corner and go around its two sides. Cover to cover movement will help you isolate fights when you are outnumbered, it will break the enemies’ line of sight, allowing you to plate and reload and reposition (3rs),
Thinking like this will always have you in a spot where you have instant access to a nice piece cover as a plan B. And if you can’t find anything, use a smoke to create a better situation. Either to push or fall back.
• Drop the ego, fall back.
Only push when u have a reason to, like getting a knock, or you are with your team, but always remember that it’s okay to run away, wither it’s because you are about to die or because u need to do the 3 Rs and push the next piece of cover to get to the enemy, this mindset will allow you to reset and dissect the fights accordingly instead of always trying to win a fight with 1 mag and 1 push.
• Mirco Positioning:
If you watch any of my high kills games and take away all the moments where I did any of the moves above, you will be left with me checking different angles all the time, hugging cover I’m jiggle peaking for info safely, I’m constantly centering my aim, and when I push, its not one massive move, it’s a sequence of small and tiny moves, being done with the purpose of pushing while saving hp and making something happen that gets me to land shots on the enemy while they miss.
• Saving HP:
The whole point of these moves is to make sure u take less damage while dealing more. you do less damage by taking cover and breaking the line of sight with movement.
• Training Method:
Start by training your muscle memory, pick one or two moves, master them then start using them in warzone, and when you do so, wither you won or lost those fights, always ask yourself what was good and should be worked on more, and what was bad and should be fixed or removed.
• Patience:
You are not going to become a movement god tomorrow, you will most likely revisit these pillars and then look at your own videos and analyze yourself, it will take time, and that is best thing o get proper results. Stay patient and accept losing as part of becoming better.
