Hakka Yong Tau Foo/ niangdoafu is a Hakka Chinese cuisine. When the Hakka migrated south they used tofu to replace flour to make dumplings. They stuffed tofu with fatty pork. In Malaysia fish is used to stuff tofu and all kinds of vegetables.
This used to be a very food until it became fancy when more exotic ingredients are used like mushrooms, long beans, fried dough etc
This popular store makes them big using the traditional ingredients. They also sell rice and basic noodles to eat with them.
They start selling at 8.30 every morning and by 1.30 pm they are usually sold out.
