The judicial custody of former West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee and his close aide Arpita Mukherjee has been extended by a special court in Kolkata till August 31 in connection with the SSC recruitment scam. The two were sent to 14-day judicial custody after their Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody ended on August 5. The duo is facing charges under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
