This striking small jumbo from Collings is their SJ Custom model, made up of beautifully figured Curly Birdseye Maple for the back and sides and Spruce for the top, finished all over in a bold Red Stain.
With its small jumbo body size and Curly Birdseye Maple construction, the character of this fine instrument is defined by its midrange crunch and presence, with plenty of volume to back it up. With that said, the lows are huge, and the clarity in the top end really is magical.
