Otherwise known as Animal Control, Animal Protection Services officers spend their days responding to animal related calls in the city of Las Vegas. The department receives more than 20,000 calls every year. These calls can include animals on the loose, reports of mistreatment of an animal, animals left after an eviction, animal bites, and much more. After picking an animal up from the situation the officers found them in, they are taken to the Animal Foundation where the staff will try and reunite the pet with their owner.
At the end of the day, Animal Protection Services is there to keep both the animals and people in our community safe.
