Dudh paneer is a pure veg dish which we make without onion and garlic. You can cook it on any holi occasion .
INGREDIENTS
250 g cottage cheese or paneer, cut into large cubes
2 tbsp poppy seed paste
8-10 cashew nuts, paste
CHARMAGAZ 1 tsp , paste
1 Tomato , paste
2-3 green chillies, paste
Whole garam masala
Bey leafs
1 small cup milk
2-3 tbsp fresh cream (optional)
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp crushed fenugreek leaves
2 tsp salt or according to taste
1 tbsp oil or ghee or butter
Cooking methods
First make a paste with cashews ,poppy seeds ,CHARMAGAZ ,green chillies and tomato. Heat 1 tbsp oil and butter together and shallow fry the paner , take out the paner from kadai and soaked it in salty water. In same kadai add some more oil and butter and add whole garam masala , when aroma started to comes out in that stage add the masala paste and cooked for few minutes. When oil start to get separated from masala add the paneer and cooked . After few minutes of cooking add half glass of milk to it and let it boil by covering it for 3-5 minutes. After 5 minuets open the lids and add dry roasted fenugreek leafs and garam masala to it . Spread some fresh cream if it available. And Dudh paneer is ready to served, enjoy it with Roti Naan or paratha. For more paneer recipe please check our playlist
