NIGHT TRAIN TOUR 🚂😴 What seat are you booking on the night train to Swedish Lapland?!
🚊 THE TRAIN 🚊
SJ NT 94
1810 - 1107 | 16 hours 57 minutes
Stockholm ➡️ Abisko
This night train is ran by SJ (they’re owned by the Swedish state) and it operates once a day in both directions. Its final destination is actually Narvik in Norway which is definitely worth a visit too, though that journey is 18 hours and 25 minutes long!!
🎫 THE CLASSES 🎫
You can book up to 3 months in advance and on release, that’s the cheapest the prices will tend to ever be. Once that starting fare is sold out, the cost will go up - just like how it works with UK trains.
This means you’re more likely to get a cheaper price the more in advance you book, but travelling in peak times can impact the demand too.
As you can see below, you can use your Interrail Pass on this train but you do need to pay to ‘reserve’ a seat. This price doesn’t change, no matter when you book your ticket (which is a perk and a half!) 💪
