Munnar
Munnar is a town and hill station located in the Idukki district of the of Kerala. Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above mean sea level,[4] . Munnar is also called the "Kashmir of South India" and is a popular honeymoon destination.
Munnar Means
The name Munnar is a combination of the words "Munnu"and "Aaru"in the local languages of Malayalam/Tamil meaning "three rivers". the name of the rivers are Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundali rivers

The park is a private park for elephant riding through the hilly paths of Munnar forest. The visitors get wonderful experience of elephant ride and feeding of elephant

Carmelgiri Botanical Garden
Nice small garden with variety of cactus. Well maintained. There is also a fruit garden next to it and a shop that sells tea and coffee products and Souvenirs. and a canteen also. you can try Munnar Famous bamboo biryani here and other snacks also.

Mattupetty Dam
Mattupetty Dam (Madupetty Dam), near Munnar in Idukki District, is a storage concrete gravity dam built in the mountains of Kerala, India to conserve water for hydroelectricity. built on River Muthirapuzha
