A man has died after the first confirmed case of measles in Ireland this year.
The HSE says the patient died in a hospital in the Dublin and Midlands Health Region.
Dr Greg Martin from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre warns of how transmissible measles is and encourages the public to keep up-to-date with vaccinations.
