When you can't get a snowmobile ride, the only option is too hike out there!

An awesome weekend exploring the West Shore of Grand Island to see the ice climbing it has to offer! Unfortunately the lake ice to get to Oh Brother Where Are Though wall was not thick enough, with only about 0.5 mile to go! So trying to find it from the top was a challenge, but we made the best of our situation and found some awesome climbs our first day!

Then, after overnighting it on the island, we worked our way back to the ferry dock and ticked off some lead climbing practice too boot! An awesome learning experience and definitely an area to come back too!
