Priocca (Peiroca in piemontese) è un comune italiano di 2.018 abitanti della provincia di Cuneo, in Piemonte. Fa parte della delimitazione geografica del Roero. Ogni anno nell'ultima settimana di Agosto si celebra la Festa di San Rocco con la "Sagra della Costata di Vitello". La sagra è caratterizzata da enogastronomia abbinata a grandi eventi, ovvero il connubio tra il buon mangiare e la buona musica. Tutte le sere apre lo stand gastronomico con le migliori specialità cucinate e servite al momento, vale a dire: costate di vitello da oltre 1/2 KG che vengono cotte alla piastra, unitamente a spiedini e salciccia di grandi dimensioni ed inoltre taglieri di salumi e formaggi, agnolotti e dolci, il tutto accompagnato da ottimo vino dei produttori di Priocca. Per la Serata del Sabato è stata cucinata una doppia Prochetta da 105Kg ciascuna, cotta 22 ore e servita sul momento. Italy Priocca (Peiroca in Piedmontese) is an Italian town of 2,018 inhabitants in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont. It is part of the geographical boundary of the Roero. Every year in the last week of August we celebrate the Feast of San Rocco with the "Veal Cost of Veal". The festival is characterized by food and wine combined with great events, or the combination of good food and good music. Every evening opens the food stand with the best specialties cooked and served at the moment, that is: veal ribs of over 1/2 kg that are cooked on the plate, together with large skewers and sausage and also cold cuts and cheeses, agnolotti and pastries, all accompanied by excellent wine from the Priocca producers. For the Saturday evening a double Prochetta of 105Kg was cooked, cooked for 22 hours and served on the spot.
