Originally fitted with a 142CI engine and was driven by Fred Frame in the 1931 Indy 500 and finished 2nd to a Miller. In 1933 it was updated with a new body (this one)/Chassis and the engine bored to 168.7CI and fitted with a "side-winder" supercharger resulting in over 200 horse power, but no mention of the finishing it had though. It was found by Briggs Cunningham (yes that one) on a chicken coop in California.
