💠 Bar Hill and Castle Hill are part of the highest section of the Antonine Wall! On a clear day there are amazing views down the valley, where the Forth & Clyde canal snakes away towards Glasgow. The Campsies form an impressive backdrop, and look even better from the trig point!

💠 Entrance to the site is free! Parking is free! Just find a spcae near by and walk up the hill... there are lots of interesting signs with illustration dotted around the fort, the only issue is lack of dog poo bins, so please take your mess home with you.
