This is the first in a planned series of videos focusing on items from auctions, sales and estates. Initially, the series will feature the opening of tubs, totes and boxes from two estates. The first estate includes items that belonged to my father who passed away several years ago. My brother and I had originally planned to go through the items together, but time and distance were just two of the many reasons why that did not happen as my father, brother and I all lived and worked in different cities. Then, sadly, two years ago, my brother passed away. Now, I find myself in the unique position of needing to go through a lot of items, discover what is there, then decide what to keep, what to sell, and otherwise make decisions regarding. The largest parts of their estates were resolved at the times of their passing, so these videos, I believe, will primarily focus on the odd collections, and miscellaneous items that remain. I simply need to do something with the many boxes throughout my home, and a step in the right direction is opening the first box, and seeing what is there. Future videos will include auctions, and additional estate sales, as well as a few surprises.
