October 25th is International Print Day! This day celebrates all things printing. Since we do letterpress printing in our print shop, we had a lot of options to choose from.

For today, Howard used a printing press to print an image from a halftone of another printing press. This halftone of a Chandler & Price jobbing press comes from a recent gift from a follower in Folsom, California. This was printed using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852.
