Demo of an early 1974 Tannoy Mallorcan ROYAL 12/60 Same As HPD .
The Tannoy Royal 12/60 was for the Canadian market .
The Tannoy HPD was for the American market with the only difference was the color of rear dust cap.
Royal Blue Canadian, Gold for America
Tannoy Mallorcan was normally used with “Tannoy gold” in 1974 Tannoy went to “Tannoy HPD”
I’m not 100% but it sounds to me that this speaker Has a Gold voice coil and HPD paper cone.
They sound majestic with live instruments.
The imaging would challenge any class a speaker.
