Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Kensington Palace have all criticised a television documentary about Princes William and Harry in an unprecedented move.

In a joint statement, they attacked the BBC and other media organisations for giving credibility to what they called "overblown and unfounded claims".

It followed a documentary which aired last night looking at the relationship of the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex with the press and media.
