The Oceanis 390 is an excellent example of one of Beneteau's first high volume production yachts to reach the European market. Panama Jack has been extremely well cared for and experienced innumerable upgrades with no expense spared to her rig, hull and hardware.
Panama Jack has undergone a rigorous rig upgrade, keel and rudder re-glassed and epoxied, and had a full electronics upgrade with a suite of Raymarine instruments and autopilot package in 2014. Just antifouled and hull topsides buffed/polished Panama Jack is now ready to enjoy.
She's powered by an upgraded 2001 40hp Volvo Penta engine with low hours. The furling mainsail is controlled from the cockpit with all control lines leading aft from the mast to upgraded rope clutches and two companionway mounted ST Lewmar 30 winches. Her large overlapping headsail is controlled by 2 primary ST Harken 48's which sit on the cockpit coamings.
Her cockpit is well shaded with new bimini and dodger which allows for alfresco dining with the folding cockpit table. Access to the yacht is very easy from the open transom with swim ladder extension and boarding step.
Below decks Panama Jack's interior glows with a gorgeous timber finish that has been lovingly treated by her current owner. She has a 3-cabin layout with the master cabin forward with dedicated head and shower with the second head and shower to port of the companionway. Both offer hot and cold water - with a third shower in the cockpit so all your creature comforts are covered.
The galley is equipped with 2-burner gas stove with oven, double stainless steel sinks, and a large front opening 12v fridge/freezer with two separate drop-ins compartments. There will always be ample power to top up the two house batteries (installed 2015) from a 120 watt solar panel and 400w wind generator. You can also enjoy 240v power throughout the boat when hooked up to shore power through her 1500w sinewave inverter.
Panama Jack would make an excellent and affordable entry level yacht for a couple family, or group of friends seeking a good, solid and comfortable cruising yacht.
