- Sugary drinks & food
- Smoking
- Alcohol
- Sweets
- Dried fruits
- Citrus fruits - no more than 1 x 125ml glass of juice a day
- Using toothpicks
- Sugars in teas and coffees,
- Excess fruits during the day (fruits can be naturally high in sugar and acid, it is best to eat them in one go so you have one sugar attack in the day rather than grazing on fruit creating multiple sugar attacks.
- Fruit smoothies
- Any fizzy drinks
