What is inside your electric razor? Find out as I dismantle a Braun 4615 Washable Electric Razor. You may discover how to fix yours or do as I did and salvage great free parts for other projects. This electric razor was donated to me for autopsy purposes, most likely because the rechargeable batteries would no longer hold a charge. So, what did I find inside? Allot of good stuff including:
- 2.4volt, 10800 RPM micro motor; quiet & fast (Mabuchi FF-180SH)
- Rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries
- LEDs
- Charging chip / PCB
- Switch
- Screws, washers, O-ring, and more
I enjoy taking things apart to see how they work, to check out what's inside, to see if I can fix them or just to get free project parts via salvage. That is why I have a whole playlist of my videos dedicated to "what's inside" of stuff. I hope you enjoy the videos!
