Ezekiel Ox (Vocals) Pete Williamson (Guitar) Nick Adams (Bass) Zane Rosanoski (Drums) Livewire four-piece Mammal are already taking Australian stages like a hot-blooded revolution. And for all the right reasons. In an industry typified by manufactured hype, management nepotism and the transparent agendas of major labels, Mammal are a rarity. Independent, loud and proud, and making a big noise via word-of mouth alone. Like some scarecrow prophet, vocalist Ezekiel Ox spits out his passionate diatribe with a wild-eyed maniacal zeal, fusing rapid-fire rhetoric and soaring melody, while guitarist Pete Williamson lays down the sort of riffage that have any punter's fist unconsciously forming the horned salute. And throughout, the lock-steady rhythm-section of bassist Nick Adams and drummer Zane Rosanoski deliver the kind of grooves you can feel in your gut. Having kicked off the year with Big Day Out and Crusty Demons Night of World Records festival shows, during June/July 2008 Mammal toured the nation armed with a fresh single off their forthcoming album 'The Majority'. 'The Majority' was recorded with Eric Sarafin (Ben Harper, Pharcyde) in the producer's chair at Melbourne's Sing Sing Studios, and was mixed and mastered in Los Angeles. 'The Majority' is Mammal's debut studio album, and will be released on August 30 2008 through Shock Records.
