This Friday Rub clip features JB, Duke, Garry, Chief and Damo telling us something we all know. The Chief is enjoyer of other people's misery. Some water was spilled on the Duke and Chief found it so funny, that it was the first time he cracked a smile all night. Sounds about right. There's some funny tweets about Jim being on the ground, and then they all wonder what Spud does on a Friday night because all he seems to do is sit down, listen to the Rub and then text them constantly. Apparently he messaged Damo 15 times claiming Garry told him the bomb is all about Damo. Duke has put new batteries in his radio to make sure he doesn't miss the story and claims he has an inkling about who it concerns. Chief asks whether it could take their leader JB down, to which Jim responds, "I'm untakedownable". Chief jumps all over that, as he is ready with a grab from one Drew Petrie, where the Dish explains he's embarrassed by Jim running on the treadmill in the North Melbourne gym, what with his linguini arms and high probability of hurting himself. That final bit is what Garry finds hilarious -- he mentions it twice afterwards and cackles like a maniac. But it's Chief that Jim targets for his return fire, saying a treadmill can at least withstand his frame without it buckling underneath him. Chief jabs back, suggesting he introduce himself to a dumbbell at some stage in his life. While Jim is disappointed with Drewie's comments, Duke takes the opportunity to ask Chief for confirmation that he did once dismantle a treadmill at a Kooyong gym. He says no because it's been so long since he's even been on one.
