Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track and field is sending nine individuals and the men's 4x100m relay to the 2023 NCAA-II Outdoor Championships May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colo., at the CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl.
The Mules, who enter the NCAA-II Championships ranked 11th in the latest USTFCCCA National Rating Index, have five individuals qualified for the meet, in addition to the 4x100m relay while the Jennies, who are ranked 15th in the most recent USTFCCCA National Rating Index, have four individual qualifiers set to compete in Pueblo.
Championship action is scheduled to get underway at 11:30 a.m. CT (10:30 a.m. MT) Thursday, May 25, and continue Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27, at the CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl.

Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track and field wrapped up its season with one National Champion and nine All-Americans at the 2022 NCAA-II Outdoor Championships Saturday, May 28, at GVSU Lacrosse/Track & Field Stadium on the Grand Valley State University campus.
In the final team standings, the Mules tied for 10th with 27 points in 21 events while the Jennies tied for 16th with 15 points in 21 events.
Mules senior Christopher Goodwin captured the first-ever NCAA-II Long Jump National Championship in program history after recording a school record and personal-best jump of 7.93m (26-0.25) on his fifth attempt. It was his fourth-career All-American honor and his first National Title.
The 2023 Qualifiers for UCM Track and Field
Pole Vault
Madi Wulfekotter, Jack Hodge and Reagan Ulrich all qualified in the pole vault for the outdoor championships. Wulfekotter enters the meet with the top mark in the country while Ulrich enters with the second-best mark and Hodge with the ninth-best mark. This will mark Wulfekotter and Ulrich's fourth appearance at the outdoor championships and Hodge's third.
Wulfekotter (4.31m - 14-1.75) and Ulrich (5.51m - 18-1) both hold the school records for the outdoor pole vault going into the championships.
Jumps
UCM has a pair of student-athletes qualified in the high and triple jump events. Evans Yamoah will compete in the high jump while Kayla Goodwin will compete in the triple jump.
Yamoah enters the outdoor championships with the second-best mark in NCAA-II at 2.18m (7-1.75).
Goodwin, competing in her second NCAA-II Outdoor Championships, enters the meet with the seventh-best triple jump mark at 12.54m (41-1.75). She is also a qualifier in the heptathlon.
Throws
Rachael Molloy will represent the Jennies in the women's hammer throw at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. This will be Molloy's second appearance at the outdoor championships. She enters the meet with the seventh-best mark in Division II at 59.37m (194-9).
Addison Snowball will compete for the Mules in the men's discus, marking his third-career showing in the outdoor championships. He enters the meet with the sixth-best throw in the country at 55.11m (180-10).
Sprints/Hurdles
Antonio Lay qualified for both the 100m dash and 200m dash and will be making his third NCAA-II Outdoor Championships appearance. Lay enters the championships with the second-fastest time in the 100m dash at 10.07 and the fourth-fastest time in the 200m at 20.63.
Multi-Events
The Jennies' Kayla Goodwin and Claire Luallen both qualified for the heptathlon at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. This will be Goodwin's second appearance at the outdoor championships and Luallen's first as a Jenny. She qualified for the outdoor championships three previous times as a member of Missouri Southern.
Entering the championships, Goodwin has the fifth-best mark in NCAA-II with 5,476 points while Luallen has the 12th-best tally at 5,080 points.
Relays
The Mules' 4x100m relay of Cameron Hesker, Antonio Lay, Ariel Kerr and Brockton McLaughlin enter the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships with the 11th-fastest time at 40.04. That time is also a school record.
