A demo of the Agile AL-3010 in Black & with the Wide frettboard option that i recently purchased from rondomusic.
The guitar is all stock from the factory other then minor tuning it. Again what makes rondomusic sell these is not just the quality of the instruments you buy, but also the options you do get on some of them. Ebony frettboard, Albalone frettmarker & triple binding inlays on the 3000 series models (even gold/black hardware upgrade kits for $40 more from there own store for most of there Agile AL series guitars) for under the cost of a Epiphone Les Paul Studio ? Gibson would never have the balls to do that .... let alone can they since being busted by the us goverment for purchasing a illegal batch of ebony.
Observation & conclusion:
IF 1 was to be REALY anal/picky about what I have here from them here is what would stand out if you fine tooth combed it:
- upper right hand corner binding on the headstock looks like its got abit of a dark smudge goin on (again you'd have to be litterly 3-5" eyeballin away to notice!!)
- tip of the headstock has some bit of binding agent buildup/residue left from assembly on the 1 arch of it .. (MAYBE 1/8" if that)
- tone controls routing holes seem off or slightly at a angle ( hard to tell if this is purposely to match the arch in the top or not but again isnt THAT noticeable )
Ultimately this is how it is, IF this guitar was sitting beside a simular in looks Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro & a Gibson Les Paul Custom all at there aproximate MSRP/DBP .... ANYONE whom has a good musician/ person with a musical ear for tone & didnt care about "brand name" or where a guitar was built in the world would very easily purchase 1 of these over the the other 2 "Premium name brands" ... cause simply put not only is the tone & build quality there but costing 1/2 (vs epiphone) or even 1/8th (vs Gibson) of the major competitors it would allow a musician to further invest into other quality componets to make his sound better or where he wants it.
