Sharing a short highlight from the 2019 Ultimate Alaska Photo Tour. After resting for a couple of hours we were treated to a show when this mother brown bear brought her 3 spring cubs to the creek to drink and then nursed them in front of our camera lenses.
I shot these images on the wonderful Olympus OM-D E-M1X and the 40-150mm 2.8 lens. This combo is killer for wildlife photography and videos. The image stabilization Olympus has is next level allowing me the ability to shoot video handheld on telephoto lenses that looks like it was shot on a tripod.
Just as the name suggests, our Ultimate Alaska photo tour is an epic adventure specifically designed to fully immerse participants in all of Alaska’s grandeur. Our privately chartered vessel will take you into the heart of Alaska’s surreal wilderness where the largest congregation of grizzly bears in the world roam.
Participants will photograph grizzly bears and cubs as they wade through thick fields of wildflowers, puffins and eagles in-flight from close range, rafts of sea otters floating together in the cool blue water, wolves, stellar sea lions, moose and more!
