They were immediately fascinated by the scenery and the excitement only grew when they dressed up in the Roman tunics, made themselves comfortable in the triclinium, and got to know the vilikus – the caretaker of the Roman villa, who entertained them with his amazing stories and introduced them to the colorful world of Roman cuisine. The Roman story is the common thread of this culinary experience, which invites you to travel back into the Roman era. Before the sunset, the caretaker of the opulent Roman holiday residence will invite you to a triclinium (Roman dining room) in Izola’s Archaeological Park.
