With more applications requiring low-latency and access to ultra fast processing power, Multi-access Edge Computing moves critical resources closer to the end devices. MEC will power things like intelligent traffic lights, self-driving cars, and real-time remote control of drones and machinery.
There’s no question that we live in a digital world, and this is all powered by next generation mobile technologies like 5G and 6G, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and a myriad of other cool technologies like IoT, MEC and Network Slicing.
