It’s another beautiful day and today im going to share with you my family’s favorite chile ancho chicken tacos! Now let me tell you when k tell you this is everyone’s favorite oh I mean it, this chicken I make it at least once a week, everyone loves it and I just love how we can have it in various ways but our ultimate favorite is of course in tacos! ✅marinade for at least 2 hours
✅chile ancho is not spicy at all it has a nice smoky flavor and give sit a nice color, now the chile chipotle is the opposite, it’s spicy so 2 chiles is for my family enough 😅 of course you can always just use the adobo sauce and skip on the chiles so it won’t be spicy, but I would try not to skip on it because the combination of both chiles is what makes this marinade ☺️
✅don’t overcook your chicken, 4 minutes per side, for split chicken breast is perfect!
Ingredients:
2-3 lbs chicken
1/2 onion
4 minced garlic cloves
2 chile chipotles plus 1 tbsp adobo sauce
1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tsp chile ancho powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp chipotle powder
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt I used 2 1/4 tsp
Avocado salsa
1 large avocado
1/4 onion
1 garlic clove
Handful of cilantro
2 tsp lime juice
1/2 cup water
Jalapeño or serrano peppers
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt I used 1/2 tsp
