We talked about recognising the deteriorating patient using NEWS2, multi-systems assessments and other investigations. We also talked through 2 case studies to highlight the importance of assessment and how physiotherapy can help manage the deteriorating patient. Finally we discussed strategies for escalating treatment and who to contact.
