As the fourth child of eight, it’s amazing that Morag Taylor had any opportunity to play games as a youth. Even so, such games as Zelda, Day of the Tentacle and the Monkey Island series have stuck in her memory as favourites and perhaps influenced her decision to work in the games industry when a career in film visual effects beckoned. Morag won an intern spot at Creative Assembly and would stay at the company for the next seven years, earning promotions and working across such triple-A games as Total War: Attila (2015), Total War: Warhammer (2016), Total War: Warhammer II (2017) and Total War: Warhammer III (2022). She decided to move on from Creative Assembly earlier in 2022 to pursue other adventures in games.
Supported by Netflix.
